Visitors are invited to Hopefield Animal Sanctuary for its annual open day this Sunday.
Admission to the event on Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood, which runs from 1 to 5pm, is £2 for adults and 50p for children under 14.
As well as meeting the animals who live at the sanctuary, there will be a wide range of stalls and shows including tombola, raffles, bric and brac and a large book stall.
