Chester City striker Mark Beesley is the latest name being linked with Ipswich Town.
The 19-year-old scored 17 goals last season and has a year left on his contract at the Deva Stadium.
Town, Notts County and Oxford United are reportedly linked with the former Preston hot-shot.
Blues boss George Burley, who earlier in the summer revealed he had lodged a bid for a player from the Nationwide League, has also been linked with Hartlepool's Tommy Miller.
