Flower power will be the order of the day when the final judging for this year's Brentwood in Bloom competition takes place next week.
Around 60 entries have been received, and the judges have been busy shortlisting the candidates this week.
Categories include best kept front garden, urban and rural, best kept pub, best school grounds project and best village.
Brentwood is also entered in the Anglia in Bloom competition, in which it won the best large town category last year. Judging takes place on July 17.
