Wickford Bowls Club tasted victory in the Basildon Association Sports Trophy at Ford Sports Club, Gardiners Lane.
More than 24 teams from the Basildon area entered and the squad of Pam Putler, Kit West, Kit Tillett, Dot Archer, Iris Hasler and Ann Johnstone came out on top.
