Southend United have agreed a £36,000 fee for Barnet striker Tony Richards.
Blues boss David Webb has been searching for a targetman to compliment his current forward-line and the aggresive former Leyton Orient man would seem to fit the bill.
Richards only joined the Bees at the start of last season, but is believed to be desperate for a return to League football, following the Underhill outfit's drop into the Conference League.
The forward is yet to agree to the move, but Webb is hoping to meet him and finalise the deal over the weekend.
