Police have issued an urgent appeal for witnesses after claims that a young woman was the victim of a serious sexual assault in Thundersley woods.
The incident allegedly occurred in West Wood in Rayleigh Road.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen two male youths and a female, all in their late teens, in the woods during Wednesday evening last week.
The first youth was wearing a Nike baseball cap, blue Adidas tracksuit bottoms and a white Adidas top.
