Aquacess Disabled Swimming Club entered their swimming team into the Halliwick Association of Swimming Therapy London Area championships at Leystone Cathall Road pool.
There were 14 events and Aquacess competed in five and their results were: Men's 25 metres - Steve Stocking won gold; Ladies 50 metres - Mel Forman was fourth; Men's 50 metres - Richard Jones won silver; Men's 100 metres - Martin Seidenbird won bronze.
In the Inter Club Relay 4 x 1, the Aquacess won gold and the team members were Richard Jones, Steve Stocking, Moira Baldwin, Martin Seidenbird.
Aquacess competed against six other clubs and finished a creditable fourth overall with Barking Beavers the winners.
All winners of their individual events and relay will now go forward to the 2001 Halliwick AST championships in Pontypool, Wales on October 13.
