Staff from the Essex Nuffield Hospital have been helping to market real ale as part of a project at St Martin's School in Hutton.
Business development manager, Sarah Larkham, from the Shenfield Road hospital, was acting as a business advisor to year 12 pupils at the Hanging Hill Lane school in their Insight into Management course.
The event culminated with a trade fair where the work of the students was displayed for the judges to see and each team gave a presentation to promote their particular brand of real ale.
Sarah Larkham said: "The standard was very high with some innovative and amusing marketing strategies that were supported by detailed research of the particular European countries being targeted for a particular product launch.
"I thoroughly enjoyed working with the young people who did a tremendous job."
