Students from the Sandon School in Molrams Lane, Chelmsford, have continued their success in athletics by winning the Central Essex Secondary Schools Championships.
The school finished 20 points ahead of the runners-up. The win comes hot on the heels of their recent success in the County Athletics Championships.
Headteacher Sian Carr said: "The athletes all turned in stunning performances and the support of their team mates helped them excel.
"There were two new records this year set by Seyi Akande, 13, from Wickford in the 100m and by Ben Ferriby, also 13, in the 200m, but the main part of the day was to encourage more young people to get involved in sport."
