Entertaining Ford End, the Hunter Carpet Bowls Club chalked up a good win by nine games to two with the other game ending in a draw.
For the hosts, four teams were unbeaten, team one winning 6-0 and 5-3, team five by 6-3 and 4-2, team six by 5-3 and 5-2 and team three winning 7-3 and drawing 5-5.
At home to Stisted it was a much closer encounter as of the 12 games played Hunters won by six to five, the other game being a 4-4 draw.
Team one had two close wins (7-6 and 9-8) but lost the third by seven shots to two. Overall on shots Stisted scored 64 points to Hunters 56.
