A leading vending machine operator is set to open a new £500,000 national call centre in Colchester.
Bunzl Vending Services will employ 20 people on the Severalls Industrial Estate.
They will co-ordinate the 100,000 trips that 450 field-based staff make each year between clients.
In all, the firm operates 20,000 food and drink machines.
Managing director Howard Colliver said: "This is only the start. When the call centre really develops we hope it will employ more people."
