A coach carrying passengers on a trip to the theatre was in a drama of its own when it was involved in an accident with a van.
It happened near roadworks at Wix Road on the A120 just outside Dovercourt at about 2.30pm yesterday (Wednesday).
A police spokeswoman said a coach and a van, both travelling from Ramsey towards Kirby Cross, were in the collision. No-one was injured.
A spokesman for Wivenhoe-based Cedric Coaches said one of its coaches was involved, and had just picked up people for a theatre trip to London.
There was another coach behind on the same trip, so the passengers in the first vehicle transferred over.
There were about 80 people on the two coaches.
