The new Essex version of the Monopoly board game proved a big hit at Southend United's Roots Hall stadium.
The game, released yesterday (Tuesday), features the Blues' home ground as well as Southend Pier and the Evening Echo. Southend United mascot Elvis J Eel and youth coach Ricky Duncan had a great time playing it.
Lakeside shopping centre is the new Vine Street while shopaholics looking for Oxford Street will instead find The Drive in Brentwood. Old Kent Road becomes Biffa waste disposal management, Southend Pier is Mayfair and Stansted Airport replaces Fenchurch Street station.
