Revellers are set to be given extra time to party the night away at the Festival Leisure Park in Basildon.
The Diva and Ikon nightclub complex has been granted an extension to its entertainment licence, which means the dancefloors will stay open until 3am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Alcoholic drinks will not be sold after 2am, but dancing and the sale of soft drinks will now be allowed for an extra hour. The news coincides with an announcement that a Chicago Rock Cafe outlet is set to open on the park.
As part of a joint agreement between nightclub management, the council and police, a half-hour gap will now stagger the closing times of four clubs and bars in the popular park.
