Shoebury youngsters voted with their feet and showed overwhelming support for a BMX and skateboard park.
More than 40 children turned out for talks with council representatives in Shoebury Park.
Council officers arranged the meeting to gauge support for enlargement and overhaul of an existing skateboard area in the park.
