Colchester United 3-1 Cambridge United (Nationwide League Division Two)

York City 2-1 Southend United (Nationwide League Division Three)

Two strikes from Scott McGleish helped Colchester United to a 3-1 win in their derby clash with Cambridge United at Layer Road.

Gary Johnson scored the other goal for the U's this afternoon (Saturday) in what was eventually an easy Division Two win - although the task had looked harder after Cambridge took the lead in the 14th minute.

In Division Three Southend United lost 2-1 at York.

The manager-less Blues had taken an early lead courtesy of a goal from Rawle, but the home side struck back immediately, Nogan equalising a minute later.

York took all three points thanks to a second-half strike from Proctor.
