George Burley saw his lacklustre Ipswich Town side limp to a goalless draw but said: "It's not a disaster."
The Blues travel to Sweden in two weeks' time after failing to capitalise on home advantage at Portman Road.
But Ipswich boss Burley has urged fans not to be downhearted after they were in the end lucky to come away with the scores level.
He said: "We didn't score but neither did they. It's not a disaster.
"It's rare that we don't score in a game and we have to be optimistic about getting on the scoresheet in Sweden."
The Scotsman was, however, concerned about the number of chances the Swedes had and is hoping to tighten up his defence for the second leg.
He added: "We didn't defend well and I'm talking about the team as a unit and not just the back four.
"We've got some work to do and we have to be stronger and not allow the opposition so much space in and around our penalty area."
