A Dickensian Market will be held in Chelmsford High Street on Saturday December 1 from 10am until 5pm, organised by Farleigh and Little Haven Children's Hospices.
There will be seasonal gifts, toys, calendars, diaries, crafts, decorations and jewellery, and hand made gift boxes to put them in.
All profits will go towards helping to provide hospice care in local areas.
Chelmsford High Street will also come alive with stallholders dressed in Victorian costumes, Father Christmas, hot roasted chestnuts and general festive cheer.
Chelmsford's Mayor, Cllr Christine Rycroft will be visiting the market at 10:30am and showing support for Farleigh Hospice, her charity of the year.
