The women's awards at Basildon Golf Club's presentation evening were dominated by lady captain Eileen Prendergast, who won ten of the events.
These included the Three-Club Trophy, Flag Cup, Ted Preedy Trophy and, quite deservedly, the special awards for Golfer of the Year and Most Improved Golfer.
Daphne Saitch won the Ladies Championship with the Millenium Bowl going jointly to Daphne Saitch, Shirley Clayton, and Josie Wilby.
Main honours for the cadets went to Billy Box, David Wilkin (Golfer of the Year) and Danny Brooks with Kiernon Groves Most Improved Golfer.
In the men's awards, John Wright was club champion for the second year running. Cadet Billy Box took the Sutton Cup for intermediate champion and the High Handicap prize went to Kevin Wright.
Kenny Brace won the new trophy, the Harry Cook Salver, and the Golfer of the Year prize. Cadet David Wilkin was most improved golfer, taking the Kinghan Cup.
The Wilkinson Sword Trophy was awarded to the cadets team for winning the NAPGC Junior Team Championship.
