A caller to BBC's Crimewatch believes a Wickford man - who is being sought by police for his involvement in a £1m fraud - could now be living in Spain.
Sought - Stephen John Hurford
Police appealed through the programme last night in the hope of tracking down 36-year-old Stephen John Hurford.
However, one caller said Hurford, who failed to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court earlier this year after pleading guilty to conspiracy to defraud financial institutions, was in Spain.
