Detectives have appealed for help following a string of burglaries in which £60,000 of goods have been stolen.
In the latest incident, on Monday afternoon in Hawkwell, around £1,000 of damage was caused to a house before thieves made off with Christmas presents.
Det Con Rachel Slade is keen to hear from anyone who can assist inquiries.
She said: "These burglaries are being committed during the daytime hours when the occupants are usually at work. We have had numerous incidents in villages and towns with a total value in excess of £60,000.
Detectives believe two men are responsible. A white transit van and on occasions a grey-coloured Vauxhall Cavalier have been seen in the vicinity of the offences.
