James Holland from the East Thurrock club has gained a notable triumph by winning the singles at the Chelmsford U/17 tournament.
Another East Thurrock junior, 15-year-old Jack Hook, was runner-up.
Holland and Lewis Brand had started their American matches with mixed fortune winning a couple, but losing narrowly in the other two.
However, the future looks bright for the two youngsters playing in a men's league.
Meanwhile Stuart Goshawk and Russell Starr won all four of their latest American matches and are now joint league leaders with Waterside.
Dave Luff and Robin Rogers held their own by winning two matches.
