Plans to pump thousands of pounds into a Westcliff shopping centre for a major facelift were revealed today.

The Hamlet Court Road Business Association is to bid for funding to carry out an extensive package of renovations and improvements.
The proposals include improved street furniture with benches and bins, better lighting and parking facilities, new signs, extended pavements and more trees and shrubs.
Businessman Nigel Havens, chairman of the association, said: "The regeneration will really bring Hamlet Court Road alive and make people want to visit the area again."
