Boxer Danny Hunt has celebrated the launch of his own website with the eighth professional win of his career.

The 20-year-old Leigh pugilist's site www.dannyhunt.co.uk went on line last week after Danny linked up with Storm Media Communications.

Staff from the Leigh-based company saw Danny defeat David Hines at the Wembley Conference Centre on Saturday night when he appeared on the Ricky Hatton title fight undercard.

It was the second time Danny, of Great Hays, had defeated Hines -- the first time was in the former Belfairs Community College pupil's second pro fight.

"This time I beat him a lot more comfortably," said Danny after the fight. "It all went to plan and was my best fight to date.

"I was trying things in sparring like body shots and combinations which I then used against Hines and I was pleased that they worked.

"A lot of people say that I'm getting much stronger and that's coming with age as I get more mature physically."

Around 120 south Essex fight fans travelled to the north London venue to see Danny in the last bout of the evening.

Danny -- dubbed the Essex Boy -- went at Hines straight from the bell and did not let up during the four-round bout.

His reward came when the judges gave Danny the verdict in each round to hand him his eighth victory. Danny's only defeat came last January when his fight at York Hall, Bethnal Green was stopped because he was cut.

Danny, the youngest-ever fighter to turn pro, at the age of 18, hopes to get back in the ring in February as he prepares to step up from four-round to six-round bouts.
