A teenager who was seriously injured when she fell into the path of a taxi is out of hospital.
Tamasin Green, 14, was walking home from the Harwich School with her brother and best friend when she stumbled and fell into the road.
Her step-father, Andrew Ashley, claimed a poor piece of paving in Lower Marine Parade, Dovercourt, was responsible for her fall and has called for urgent action to mend it.
Tamasin, of Oakland Road, Dovercourt, suffered injuries to her head, arms and legs and was taken to Colchester General Hospital but has since been discharged.
A spokeswoman for Essex County Council said the police normally talked with its area office if there was a problem.
