A man has undergone treatment to a head wound after two men forced their way into his flat and hit him with a bottle.
The 21-year-old was in his flat at Marston House in High Street, Grays, when the attackers forced their way in just after midnight on Tuesday.
They assaulted the victim and made off. He was taken to Basildon Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
