There were angry exchanges as antihunt protesters shouted at riders as the annual Boxing Day hunt got under way.

For the first time in 60 years the hunt was not held in Maldon High Street because of foot-and-mouth restrictions.
Instead members of the Essex Farmers and Union Hunt gathered at a farm in Steeple, near Burnham.
Police were on stand-by in case trouble broke out, but no arrests were made.
