A fundraising group set up to support the Helen Rollason Cancer Care Centre Appeal raised more than £250 at Braintree Christmas Market.
The group next meets at the Towerlands Centre, Deanery Hill, Braintree, on January 9, at 8pm.
It is arranging a quiz night for early 2002.
