To celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee in June next year, Brentwood Borough Council will present Jubilee branded events throughout the year.
Brentwood council will put the Golden Jubilee stamp on its Fireworks Spectacular, Strawberry Fair, Day With Dogs, Town Centre Cycle Race and Lighting Up Brentwood annual community events.
The council will also act as a co-ordinator for other Jubilee events organised by people in the borough.
A Jubilee civic service will be held at Chelmsford Cathedral on Sunday, June 9, 2002, while the Golden Jubilee itself will be commemorated over a long weekend from June 1 to 4, 2002.
