Shoppers are being warned not to buy cheap watches from a consignment that have been stolen.
An Essex Police spokesman said 50,000 Storm brand watches were stolen from Heathrow Airport recently and some of them have turned up for sale in Chelmsford.
He said the watches, which would normally be sold for between £80 and £150, were being offered for just £15 at a market in the town.
The women's and men's watches all have the word Storm on the face and embossed on the strap and buckle and were in cellophane wrappings.
