A South Woodham man is starring alongside comedian Bradley Walsh in the pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, in Hastings.
Marc Hopkins, 20, who was part of the lighting team for the West End show Mamma Mia!, beat 50 others in auditions for the role of Prince Phillip.
Proud parents Kevin and Lorraine, of Crouch Beck, are thrilled at their son's achievement: "It was very emotional when we heard, we are so proud. It took it upon himself to go down there and audition and he was later told he had the part," said Kevin.
