Police want to trace a motorist who made off without stopping from an accident in which another driver suffered minor injuries.
The 30-year-old man, from the Felmores estate, Basildon, suffered shock, cuts and bruises after his Toyota Yaris was in collision with a VW Golf at the A 414 Maldon turn-off of the A12 near Chelmsford.
Officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the accident, which happened at about 9.50pm on the London-bound side of the road on Thursday, or anyone who has information about the other driver.
