A special crime prevention weekend kickstarted the project on the Woodgrange Drive Estate, formerly the Kursaal estate, supported by the Crimestoppers charity with the launch of an awareness-raising poster campaign.
Residents were invited along to receive valuable advice. The project is one of the latest moves to revitalise the Woodgrange Drive Estate, involving the police, Estuary Housing and Southend Council working in partnership with the residents' association and Circles SRB Youth Project.
