Southend United turned league form on its head on Saturday to run out 1-0 winners over high-flying Mansfield Town.
A goal on 23 minutes from Blues striker Tesfaye Bramble was enough to seal the points against the visiting Stags, who currently lie third in Division Three of the Nationwide League.
In Division Two Colchester United also had a good weekend, holding much-fancied Tranmere Rovers to a goalless draw.
The Essex visitors could not have been relishing a trip to Prenton Park but will be pleased to have come away with a point.
