Grays Shopping centre is planning to celebrate Easter in true East End style.
Mayor of Thurrock, Barrie Lawrence, will launch the fortnight at noon on Saturday, March 23, immediately followed by Cockney rock stars Chas and Dave on stage for an hour, playing and singing many of their hits.
A series of events - including karaoke, Elvis impersonators and pearly kings and queens - is scheduled for the Easter week and two former EastEnders stars will be at the centre on Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6.
Paul Bradley - Nigel in the television series - will be there for an hour from 11.30am on Friday and Craig Fairbrass - Dan Sullivan - will arrive at noon on the Saturday.
