Bars and nightclub operator Luminar has reported buoyant New Year's Eve figures despite new laws allowing pubs to offer round-the-clock drinking.
The company, which operates more than 60 Chicago Rock Cafes, including sites in Chelmsford, Colchester, and Harlow, and clubs including London's Hippodrome, said disco division sales on the big night rose eight per cent.
