One of Essex's leading bosses has given her face to the biggest advertising campaign ever launched by the East of England Development Agency (EEDA).
Barbara Cassani, chief executive of Stansted-based Go airline, is appearing on advertising hoardings throughout Europe.
The idea is to promote the east of England as the place to live, the place to do business and the place to visit.
Using the theme East of England - Space for Ideas, the campaign aims to make the region stand out from its UK and European competitors.
Said Alan Cherry, EEDA board member and chairman of Countryside Properties: "This campaign, which brings together the six counties if Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk under the new East of England banner is a key part of the EEDA's strategy to promote a strong image for the region and help to improve prosperity and opportunity for all."
