At Forrester Park Golf Club, all sections enjoyed beautiful weather for their competitions this week.

The ladies played a 12-hole divisional stableford with Anona Straker and Irene Hoffman both scoring 21 points in the first division, with Anona winning on countback.

The second division went to Toni Aldous with 25 points from Gay Mole, who scored 22 points.

The third division was won by Dawn Robinson with 20 points.

The men played the third of the captain's choice competitions, a "best two from four" team stableford competition.

The runaway winners with 87 points were Ian Fletcher, Peter Stuart, Kevin Royan and Danny Harrington.

At Regiment Way Golf Centre the ladies and gentlemen of the club got together to play in the Valentine Scramble on Sunday.

Most times of the year this would be known as a Texas Scramble but as it's near the 14th the name was changed but not the rules.

The winning team was that of Jacky Thompson playing with Dudley Joyce, Paul Sparrow and Malcolm Smith. They scored a gross 61 which taking off their team handicap of 6.2 gave them a net 54.8.
