Katie Richardson is the U/13 Essex League champion.
The Havering Mayesbrook athlete, who lives in South Ockendon, wasn't at the final event because of the Inter-County Schools championships where she finished a superb third and leading the Essex junior girls' team to an overall second place.
Richardson, who won all four of her League races, is on Saturday competing in the English National Cross Country championships in Bristol.
Future events include the English Schools Cross County at Chelmsford next month and in April the London Mini Marathon in which she was third last year.
