Charity bosses are looking for new recruits to train as counsellors to help the bereaved.
Cruse Bereavement Care, which covers Basildon, Billericay and Wickford, is hoping to find up to 20 new trainees to take part in its six-week training course.
The charity runs a 24-hour helpline for anyone who has been bereaved to find advice and support.
The new course begins on April 9 and will be held at the Cannon Roche social centre, in Laindon Road, Billericay. There will also be one Sunday session in the course.
Anyone interested in training can call 01277 653440 or 01268 555985. The bereavement helpline, for counselling requests only, is on 01277 656130.
