A woman biker who was injured in a horrific road smash on the A13 in Thundersley has died.
The 24-year-old, from Southend, was riding a blue Kawasaki 900 motorbike which was involved in an accident with a Ford Escort at around 6.25pm on Monday.
The crash occurred on the Southend-bound track of Kiln Road. The woman, who has not yet been named, was taken to Southend Hospital with serious head and pelvic injuries where she died.
The driver of the green Escort, a 24-year-old man from the Benfleet area, escaped with minor injuries.
