A note left by a girl at an address searched by police led to officers discovering she had 81 ecstasy tablets.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted to a judge on Wednesday that she had the tablets with intent to supply and had 24.4gms of cannabis resin for personal use.
Marc Canatella, prosecuting at Chelmsford Crown Court on Wednesday, said police found a note from the girl at an address used to house offenders in Chelmsford.
When the ecstasy tablets were found at the girl's address she said she was looking after for someone else.
She was already on a community punishment order for a different type of offence. Nicola May, mitigating for the girl, said she was vulnerable, lacking in self confidence and been a target for others.
Judge Ben Pearson told the girl her offences normally resulted in custody but she had been subjected to pressure from others. A one year supervision order was imposed to include a repeat offending programme.
