Police have reminded residents to lock their doors and windows after burglars broke into two homes in Upland Road, Billericay, while the homeowners slept.
In both incidents, crooks forced open back doors and raided downstairs rooms. Credit cards, mobile phones, handbags and cash were stolen during the break-ins.
