Nobody at Thurrock is going to take anything for granted, but they have every right to feel pleased with themselves - Tees are nine points clear at the top of the the Printwize Fifth Division.
The club's magnificent form since the turn of the year continued apace at the weekend against old rivals Old de Ferrians.
Almost in every game now, Thurrock are putting five goals into the oppositions' net. This time former de Ferrian' player Darren Higgins, scored twice and there was one apiece from Ashley Snell, Sonny Chada and Dave Dighton.
A couple of goals to the good at half-time, Tees got even better after the interval, although de Ferrians did hint of a recovery until Dighton's goal calmed any nerves.
Just to add to yet another great weekend, Thurrock's nearest rivals Brentwood were held to a draw.
