Action is to be taken to stop traffic speeding through Hatfield Peverel.
Residents have become fed up with rush-hour traffic clogging up their streets and the speed at which motorists hurtle through their village.
District councillor for Hatfield Peverel, and resident, John Jarvis wants to set up an action group to get more safety measures installed.
He has presented villagers with a number of possible strategies which may help to improve the situation.
