Essex Chambers of Commerce is to use the electronic and print media the streamline its news service to members.
Newsquest, publishers of Evening and Business Gazettes, will be one of its major outlets.
The chamber will also increase use of its e-mailing system. As part of its agreement with Newsquest, the chamber will have access to the Business in Essex section of the This Is Essex website.
The chamber's own website - www.essexchambers.co.uk - already provides a first class business information service, and this will be complemented by the news items on This Is Essex.
Meanwhile, monthly mailings from Colchester and Southend will continue and members not on-line will continue to receive hard copies of the regular information bulletin.
