A magic bus bringing music-making experiences to children will be making a stop at the Brentwood Centre for some half term fun.
Parents and children are invited to climb aboard the bus at the Doddinghurst Road leisure centre today between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
The deputy mayor of Brentwood, Cllr Derek Hardy, will officially launch the project which is taking to the road after a year's work by Brentwood Borough Council Arts Development service which refined the idea and raised almost £150,000.
East England Arts and the National Foundation for Youth Music have awarded substantial grants for the scheme, which will bring quality music-making experiences to Brentwood and Basildon children from birth up to the age of 14.
Visitors at today's first ever stop will be able to look in on workshops, meet the artist who will be leading the project and speak to the team running it.
