Having enjoyed a great cross-country season, Andrew Livingstone will be looking to further glories when the new track and field campaign gets underway.
Before then, the Thurrock Harriers and his great rival Adam Hickey will be among a host of young runners competing for Essex in an event prior to the Flora London Marathon on Sunday.
The following weekend see the start of the Eastern Young Athletes League, with the Essex championships being staged early in May. Day one is at Southend's Garon Park track on bank boliday Monday (May 6) with the conclusion at Basildon's Gloucester Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12.
