Billericay eased past hapless Maidenhead at the weekend, romping to a 2-0 success that sees the Essex side hold 6th spot in the Ryman Premier.

A goal in each half did the damage against a demoralised Maidenhead outfit that rarely found their rhythm. Danny Gilley put Billericay ahead on 24 minutes, spotting home keeper Nick Hart off his line and lobbing in expertly.

Further chances came the way of Martin Carthy and Joe Baker, before the points were made secure on the hour as Carthy was afforded space to despatch a header past Hart and double the advantage.

Jamie Jarvis saw a header go close late on, but the hosts were well beaten on the day.
