The Essex business community is to get the chance to debate Chancellor Gordon Brown's Budget almost as it leaves his lips, thanks to Business Link for Essex.
The Government-backed business support organisation is hosting a live Budget Special event at the Waterfront Place in Chelmsford on Wednesday April 17.
An invited audience of 100 will arrive at 3pm to listen to the Budget speech itself, while at 5.30pm a business focused open forum debate will discuss the main topics to emerge.
The event will also be carried live by radio station BBC Essex, with Business Link host Nick Athorne.
